The Lockheed Martin F-16 Block 50/52/60 represents a further step in the evolution of the F-16 Fighting Falcon multirole jet fighter. There are many new modifications, most of them internally, but the biggest change visible to the eye is the pair of removable conformal fuel tanks and a dorsal avionics compartment that make the new Falcon one of the ugliest jets ever.

While out on border patrol, an OH-58D Kiowa Warrior surveillance helicopter came across a couple having sex in a convertible. This funny situation was recorded using the IR camera on board the helicopter. You can hear pilots talk about it over the radio. “We have activity here but I don’t think we really need to report it…. appears to be fornication in a convertible”… Seems the pilots have a lot of fun. Hilarious!!! (Read more…)

In the late 1960’s a secret program was undertaken by the US Air Force and Navy to evaluate flight characteristics of soviet built aircraft. The US acquired aircraft, radar systems, missiles as well as other hardware from friendly nations (Israel,Egypt, etc.) or aircraft used by their pilots to defect. The program continued until the early 1990’s, when the fall of the Soviet Union led to the end of the Cold War. (Read more…)

First developed by the Russians, plasma stealth technology is also known as “Active Stealth Technology”. Plasma stealth is a proposed process that uses ionized gas (plasma) to reduce the radar cross section (RCS) of an aircraft. A plasma stream is injected in front of the aircraft covering the entire body of the aircraft and absorbing most of the electromagnetic energy of the radar waves, thus making the aircraft difficult to detect. The continuation of the previous Company of Heroes game is here: Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts. I’ve got to say I didn’t play the first so I’m new to it. I like RTS (real time strategy) games, but not all. Starcraft was my favorite so far, and I was waiting for Starcraft II eagerly when I heard of the new Company of Heroes.
I’ve got to say I haven’t played anything like it so far. It’s simply breathtaking. The graphics are splendid, and up-to-date, and the game itself brings a whole new dimension to strategy games. This is the kind of game, that makes people buy new PC’s just to play it. (Read more…)
