One of the most advanced submarines in the world is the German Type 212 class. Equipped with a fuel cell propulsion system, the Type 212 submarines are the first of only two fuel cell propulsion system equipped submarines, the other being the Russian Lada class submarine.

F/A-18 vs MiG-29 Dogfight

On April 17, 2002, the Swiss Air Force invited the German Luftwaffe MiG-29 Fulcrums to a two week exercise, where pilots from both sides were to engage in DACT (Dissimilar Air Combat Training). It was not the first time German MiGs were called upon to confront western pilots with the much feared Russian myth, it was however the first time MiGs were deployed over the Alps. Fennek armed reconnaissance vehicle

In support of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF), the Royal Netherlands Army deployed the Fennek armed reconnaissance vehicle in southern Afghanistan.The Fennek is a light armoured 4WD reconnaissance vehicle, operated by a three man crew and deployed in units of two vehicles.A scout party formed up of two of these vehicles is able to operate independently for a period of up to five days.
